Bradfield Primary School celebrate Ofsted rating

School rated "Good" following inspection in May

CHILDREN and staff at Bradfield Primary School are celebrating this week after Ofsted inspectors rated the school ‘good’.

The school was praised for its leadership, teachers and pupils during the visit of inspectors last month.

The report singled out headteacher Jenny Slade-Nowell, saying: “The headteacher, supported by highly-skilled governors, strives to ensure that all pupils reach the highest possible standards within a caring and happy atmosphere.”

Inspectors also praised staff for creating “a warm and nurturing environment in which pupils feel safe and secure.

“There is a good variety of extra activities, including residential visits, which add to pupils’ enjoyment of school.”

Mrs Slade-Nowell said she was delighted with the report.

“This wonderful outcome has been achieved through the hard work and dedication of all the staff, children, parents, governors, church, local community, the local authority and the diocese of Oxford.

“It has been a real team effort.”
