Burglars steal cigarettes after break-in at Pangbourne Co-op




Thames Valley Police has appealed for witnesses after burglars smashed the windows of the Pangbourne Co-op yesterday (Thursday) morning and stole cigarettes.

The store, in The Square, was attacked at around 3.10am and police cordoned off the site.

There are no indications that anything other than cigarettes was stolen from the premises.

A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: "Thames Valley Police was called at around 3.10am today (2/9) to a report of a burglary at Co-op in The Square, Pangbourne.

"A quantity of cigarettes were taken.

"An investigation is ongoing.

"Anyone with information can call 101 or make a report online quoting reference 43210393489."
