A major police incident is unfolding in Baughurst this morning (Sunday), with reports of helicopters and armed response units in the area.

Police appear to be concentrated around Pinks Lane, and there are unconfirmed reports on social media of destroyed cars sighted in the village.

A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "We were called out at 11.25am this morning to reports of a suspicious vehicle by O'Bee Gardens in Baughurst. Officers are currently on-scene attempting to locate a driver who was seen to decamp from the vehicle."
