Bucklebury fundraises for Motor Neurone Disease and domestic abuse charities

Bucklebury awarded two generous cheques to local charities after its successful summer Beer Festival.

On Thursday, October 6, two cheques each worth £1,000 were donated to the Motor Neurone Disease Association and Berkshire Women’s Aid charities at The Cottage Inn in Upper Bucklebury.

Dini Hunt, from Berkshire Women’s Aid, and Jane Gilbert, from the MND Association (Reading and West Berkshire branch), thanked the trustees for their generous support.

They said the funds would make a big difference to their work reaching out to local people living with MND and affected by domestic abuse.
