Wilko set to go into administration — putting 12,000 jobs at risk

A popular high street retailer has announced it plans to go into administration.

Discount chain Wilko has said it plans to appoint administrators, citing “mounting cash pressures”.

The news means the 12,000 jobs could be put at risk across the company’s 400 stores.
