Burghfield Common hit by power cut

School and leisure centre closed until further notice today (Monday) after power cut to area
A POWER cut across Burghfield Common has forced the closure of Willink Leisure Centre and the Willink school today (Monday).
Both will remain closed until further notice.
A spokesman for West Berkshire Council, Keith Ulyatt, said this morning: "We believe quite a few properties in the area were without power late yesterday (Sunday).
"When the power suppliers reconnected yesterday, some buildings remained without power.
"Willink Leisure Centre was one. We are told by the electricity suppliers that power should be restored later today.
"When the Leisure Centre reopens depends entirely on when that may happen."
