Calcot burglar Jason Scott sent to crown court in custody




A BURGLAR has been locked up to await sentence.

Jason Scott appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, March 9.

The 44-year-old, of Red Cottage Drive, Calcot, admitted burgling a retirement home, Cedar Court in Whitley Rise, Reading, on Monday, February 26, and stealing electrical items worth £150.

Mr Scott, who was legally represented at the hearing by Adonis Daniel, was told the matter would sent to Reading Crown Court to be sentenced by a judge on a date to be fixed.

He was meanwhile denied bail and was remanded in custody.
