Business as usual for most West Berks services
As snow quickly began to consume the district, many high streets stores, local schools and sports facilities were forced to shut-up-shop for the day, largely as a result of poor travelling conditions.
However, the case does not appear to be the same for today, with most businesses and services running as usual.
Most libraries said they "hope to be open as scheduled" but are advising users to check before travelling.
Mobile library services will cease operation until road conditions have improved.
The majority of sports and leisure centres across the district are also open, however with some changes to their scheduled activities.
Adventure Dolphin Activity Centre and Theale Green Recreation Centre remain closed. Cotswold Sports Centre is also closed due to low staff availability.
Thames Valley Police is continuing to urge motorists to only use their cars if absolutely essential.
Acting Supt Henry Parsons, from the roads policing unit, said: "In view of the snow and now the freezing temperatures, road conditions are not good.
"I would advise motorists to only use their cars if absolutely necessary and if you have to drive anywhere then I urge drivers to be 'slow in the snow'.
"These hazardous driving conditions may last a few days."
