Business is blooming for Thatcham florist

Leanne Corcoran, aged 30, was joined by her partner Alex Kimble and the Mayor of Thatcham Mike Cole, as she unlocked the shop door at Flowers by Broadway Blooms for the first time.
Ms Corcoran, who was formerly a community champion at Tesco in Newbury, used to create flowers for family and friends, but decided to take the plunge when a unit became free in the town centre.
She said: “When this business came up, we grabbed it. Business has been steady so far but the word of mouth has been good.
“Thatcham is a nice place and I know people here, but with the right business mind, you will do well wherever you are.”
