Burys Bank Road - between Newbury and Thatcham - closed on Tuesday for carriageway repairs

A road between Newbury and Thatcham will be closed tomorrow.

Burys Bank Road, will be shut from 9.30am until 3.30pm.

The closure is in place from the junction with Greenham Road down to the junction with Crookham Hill.

It is to allow Volker Highways to carry out permanent carriageway repairs on behalf of West Berkshire Council.

A diversion route will be in place and will be signed on site.

Motorists will need to go down Pinchington Lane, the A339, along Thornford Road, Crookham Common Road and Crookham Hill, a route of 8km.
