Next in Calcot, Reading, will close for the last time this weekend

The Next store in Calcot will close its doors for the last time this weekend.

The retailer, which opened a store in Newbury's Parkway Shopping last year, is due to close at 7pm tomorrow (Saturday).

Next confirmed the permanent closure of the Bath Road store at the beginning of last month.

It said the store will cease trading on Saturday (March 12).

There has been speculation on social media that B&M – the 'variety store' – could be opening instead at Unit 3, Bath Road, Calcot.
