Call for volunteers for this year's Berkshire Show





Run by the Newbury and District Agricultural Society (NDAS), the show relies heavily on the support of volunteers, whose roles range from IT services and office work to marking out areas of the grounds.
Volunteers to act as stewards over the show weekend, on September 20 and 21, are in particular need, while carpenters and handymen to build a float to promote the event are also being sought.
All those working more than four hours as stewards over the show weekend will receive complimentary tickets for both show days and a meal ticket.
Many roles require no previous experience and training will be provided.
