Cameo: former auction boss bailed again

He has been rebailed until next Wednesday, March 27 and meanwhile the Official Receiver has announced another opportunity for customers to collect their goods.
The firm, formerly based at Midgham, suspended trading after a raid by West Berkshire Council’s trading standards officers in May last year, which followed a series of articles by the Newbury Weekly News.
A joint investigation by Thames Valley Police and West Berkshire Council trading standards officers involved contacting hundreds of former Cameo customers across Britain and abroad.
Mr King, aged 64, from Abingdon, Oxfordshire, was officially declared bankrupt last June.
The Official Receiver subsequently located goods that were held in a storage container by a friend of Mr King.
So far there have been two item collections; one on February 4 and the other on February 28.
If you have not already been in contact with the Official Receiver and provided details of your goods held by Cameo Auctioneers, or have any queries regarding any unsold items, contact Will Johnson for details of the third collection, either by telephone on 01189514665 or alternatively by email at will.johnson@insolvency.gsi.gov.uk
