Camper van stolen from Beacon Hill car park
According to Hampshire Constabulary, the van was stolen sometime between 8.30am and 11.30am on Saturday, September 29.
A 39-year-old man had parked the Volkswagen Camper Van in the car park while he went for a training run for the Three Peaks Challenge.
He returned a few hours later to find that the van, extensively modified at a cost of several thousand pounds, had gone.
Pc Phil Chalke said: “This is a local beauty spot used by many people during the weekend.
“I would like to hear from anyone who visited Beacon Hill car park on Saturday, September 29, who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area or seen the van being driven off.”
