CAMRA to launch new website

New website will have bigger and better pub directory and more features

THE West Berkshire Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) is shortly to unveil a revamped website.

The new improved site features an updated pubs directory and a rolling gallery of pictures from branch events.

Branch webmaster Rich Milligan described the process as a labour of love.

"It's taken me the best part of 6 months to completely redesign and code the new site, and as I'm not a web developer by trade it's probably taken me twice as long as it should!" he said.

"I just hope that both members and non-members alike will find it a useful addition to the ever growing electronic presence the branch has."

To launch the new website the branch will be holding an event in The Lock, Stock and Barrel pub in Northbrook Street on January 24.

Members of the branch committee will also be on hand to demo the new site and explain the new features.

The branch's website address can be found at www. westberkscamra.org.uk and the branch webmaster can be contacted at webmaster@westberkscamra.org.uk.
