The plants together with a hydroponic system were discovered in a loft of a property in Essex Street at about 2pm on Sunday.
Police were called to the address following a domestic dispute, according to Thames Valley Police spokesman, Adam Fisher.
A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cannabis cultivation and was questioned by police.
The arrested man has now been released on police bail until December 6.
