Capturing the joys of Spring
The latest My Newbury photo submissions show blossoming flowers and animals enjoying the countryside
THE people of West Berkshire are not the only ones enjoying the recent good weather, according to the latest My Newbury photo submissions.
Newburytoday.co.uk readers David Canning, Chris Burch and Rhea Lummis have all submitted pictures of animals in the West Berkshire and North Hampshire countryside this week, together with shots of blossoming flowers in Tadley and lovely rural scenery in Baughurst and Tadley, submitted by Mr Canning.
Each photographer has encapsulated the spirit of Spring in their snaps, which show frogs at a balancing pond in Cold Ash, Exmoor ponies on Greenham Common, ducklings by the Kennet and Avon Canal and bluebells and foliage around St Peter's Church in Tadley.
If you have taken pictures out and about in the countryside recently, then please send them in to us at newburytoday@newburynews.co.uk, marked ‘My Newbury' and we will feature them here online at www.newburytoday.co.uk, in the Newbury Weekly News and in The Advertiser.
