Car crash and broken down vehicle close lanes on A34 north of Newbury

A car crash and a broken down vehicle have closed lanes on the A34 north of Newbury.

The inside southbound lane between Chilton and East Ilsley is closed due to the crash.

The event is expected to clear between 10am and 10.15am and it is currently causing delays of up to 10 minutes against expected traffic.

Just south of East Ilsley, the outside southbound lane is closed due to a broken down vehicle.

This is expected to clear between 9.45am and 10am, and normal traffic conditions are expected to return at the same time.
