Car crash between West Ilsley and Beedon closes lane on A34 near Newbury

A car crash has closed a lane on the A34 and it is not expected to open until the afternoon.

One lane on the A34 southbound between its junctions with the A4185 at Didcot and the M4 at Chieveley is closed and it is not expected to clear until between 2.45pm and 3pm.

The crash, which occurred between West Ilsley and Beedon, was first reported at 7.30pm.

There are currently delays of up to 20 minutes against expected traffic.
