Thames Valley Police appeals for witnesses to Lambourn crash




Police are appealing for witnesses after a car crash near Lambourn put two people in hospital with serious injuries.

At around 2.35pm on Saturday, February 18, a white Fiat Punto and a blue Alfa Romeo Giulietta were involved in a collision on Ermin Street at the junction with Ramsbury Road, Lambourn Woodlands.

Two people, the driver and passenger in the Alfa Romeo, a 61-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman, sustained serious injuries and were taken to hospitals in Bristol and Swindon respectively.

They remain in hospital in stable conditions.

The driver of the Fiat Punto sustained minor injuries.

Investigating officer PC Brendan Austin said: “I’m appealing to anybody who witnessed this collision, or who may have been driving in the area and has dash-cam footage of the collision, or the moments leading up to it, to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.
