Car crashes into Pets at Home store front on London Road




A vehicle crashed into a pet store on London Road on Wednesday (May 25).

The car hit the store front of Pets at Home's Newbury branch, temporarily closing it.

The store was cordoned off by police and a spokesperson said it was expected to remain closed until this morning (Friday).

The spokesperson said: "A car had hit the store. They briefly shut for a structural engineer to come and visit the site. It has now been boarded up."

She added: "Nobody was hurt and the staff are all fine."

The store front has been boarded up and a spokesperson said no one was hurt.
