Car fire at Purley Sports and Social Club suspected arson

Watch manager of Green Watch at Dee Road Fire Station, Tilehurst, Mark Jones, said one pump was called at 6am to Purley Sports and Social Club, in Beech Road, where a grey BMW was well alight.
Firefighters used one hosereel to extinguish the blaze, before leaving the scene after half an hour.
The Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS) logged the incident as a suspected arson.
