Car fire is suspected arson

Firefighters attended the incident in Tilehurst in the early hours of this morning (Saturday)

A CAR fire in Tilehurst in the early hours of this morning (Saturday) is thought to have been started deliberately.

A fire crew from Dee Road Fire Station, Tilehurst, attended the incident in Chichester Road at about 3.30am where a blue Vauxhall was alight.

Crew manager Simon Abbott said: "It is suspected arson."
