Careless driver, Ashley Little from Thatcham, caused victim serious injury
A MOTORIST has been sentenced for causing a serious injury accident by his careless driving.
Ashley Little appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, July 23.
The 55-year-old, of Adwood Court, Thatcham, admitted causing serious injury to Sandra Parkinson by driving a Ford Tourneo carelessly on High Street, Thatcham, on June 25 last year.
Little, who was legally represented at the hearing, was made subject to a 12-month community order.
In addition, he was ordered to pay £85 costs, plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £114.
Next, Little was ordered to complete 200 hours of unpaid community service.
Finally, he was banned from driving for 15 months.
