Reading Magistrates' Court: Hungerford driver failed to stop

A HUNGERFORD man has been convicted of careless driving and failing to stop for police.
In the dock at Reading Magistrates' Court on Thursday, April 26, was Lee Hewer.
The 41-year-old, of Priory Road, admitted driving a Rover Evoque carelessly on Priory Road on November 19 last year.
He further admitted failing to stop the vehicle on being required to do so by a constable in uniform on the same occasion.
Mr Hewer, who was legally represented by Sally Thomson, was fined £600.
In addition, he was ordered to pay £85 costs, plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £80.
