CCTV images of missing man released as police continue hunt
Timothy Alexander Painter, of Meadowside Road, Pangbourne, was last seen on Thursday (21) near Asda in Honey End Lane in the Prospect Park area at about 9.55am.
He was seen in the Asda store and it is thought he may have caught a taxi or taken a bus from near the store at about 10am.
Pc Louise McIntosh, who is assisting the search for Mr Painter, said: “We are concerned about Timothy’s mental health and as time is passing we and his family are growing increasingly worried about his welfare.
“We would urge anyone who may know of his whereabouts to contact us as a matter of urgency and we would particularly appeal to any taxi or bus drivers who may have picked up a passenger answering Timothy’s description near Asda at around 10am last Thursday to call us.”
Mr Painter is described as white, 6ft 2ins, of average build with short dark hair, thinning on top with sideburns and he has green/blue eyes.
He is believed to be wearing dark trousers, possibly a bright blue t-shirt, brown jumper and distinctive dark trainers with white soles and white laces.
