Cerys by candlelight sold out

Nineties pop icon and Noughties champion of roots music Cerys Matthews plays to a full house at Arlington Arts tomorrow night (Saturday) in Cerys by Candlelight. With chat and charm aplenty this intimate evening will see Cerys perform songs from her recently released festive album Baby It’s Cold Outside, as well as some of her back catalogue and other songs she loves.
Finding new audiences through her popular Sunday morning show on BBC 6Music, Cerys’ passion for folk music from every continent has become well known. Her 2011 album Explorer was perhaps the culmination of this reputation, as she presented a collection of folk songs from across the globe.
Those lucky enough to have themselves a ticket - the show's sold out - should expect an enchanting evening with one of British music’s most endearing characters – otherwise, it’s just the X Factor Final – featuring, quite possibly the opposite.
