Changes to Jetblack bus service

The service between Newbury and Reading will be altered in line with the opening of Parkway

CHANGES are being made to the Jetblack bus service between Newbury and Reading, it has been announced.

From Thursday, October 27 - the day that the new Parkway shopping centre opens in the town - a new road layout and new bus stops will be introduced, with the service no longer stopping in Bartholomew Street, Northbrook Street or Broadway.

The new main town centre stops will be located on Parkway and a number of minor modifications will be made to Jetblack times to help with the reliability of buses along the A4 route.

Buses will generally leave Newbury bus station five minutes before their current times; for example at 9.05am instead of 9.10am.
