Changes to rail services this weekend

A bus service will run from Reading, Reading West and Theale today (Sat) and tomorrow.
Today, passengers travelling to Newbury and Bedwyn can catch the hourly train from Theale.
Tomorrow an hourly bus service will run from Reading/Reading West to Theale where a rail service will call at all stations between Theale and Newbury every two hours. Another service will continue to Bedwyn calling at Thatcham, Newbury and all stations in between.
A bus service will also be in place between Reading and Basingstoke until tomorrow. One service will travel direct while another will call at Reading West, Mortimer and Bramley.
Those jetting off from Gatwick Airport should be aware that there will be no direct access to the airport from Reading station until Monday.
Customers are advised to travel to Reigate and take the replacement bus service.
On New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, there will be two trains an hour between Reading and Newbury while an hourly service will operate between Newbury and Bedwyn.
