Swings & Smiles joins forces with The Woodspeen for ‘fabulous’ fundraising event

As part of its summer fundraising programme, Thatcham charity Swings & Smiles is partnering with The Woodspeen for a dinner with a difference.

Alongside a seasonal three-course dinner prepared by Woodspeen head chef, Sam Brennan, guests will have the opportunity to bring antiques for valuation by a special guest.

BBC personality Thomas Forrester — best known for Bargain Hunt and Antiques Road Trip — will join diners on Monday, June 10 for an evening of antiques and anecdotes.

"It is such an honour to be able to support such an important local charity,” said The Woodspeen managing director, Alessandro Fasoli.

“We’re delighted to be releasing The Woodspeen restaurant exclusively for this cause and to give help in any way we can to our lovely community, as they have always supported us during these 10 successful years of trading."
