Charity beer festival needs you!

Festival at The Taste of England will raise money for the Rainbow Rooms at West Berkshire Community Hospital

ORGANISERS of a charity beer festival are appealing for donations and sponsorship.

The real ale festival and raffle takes place at The Taste of England in Lower Henwick Farm, Turnpike Road, on Saturday, April 9.

It is being held to raise money for the Rainbow Rooms at Berkshire Community Hospital.

The rooms provide support and accommodation for the terminally ill and offer a unique resource within the local community. The Taste of England regularly holds quizzes and raffle draws to raise money to support the facility.

The raffle will be an important part of the day and all companies donating prizes and promises will receive special recognition and are invited to attend.

Event co-ordinator Becky Lillycrop said: “Any kind of donation will be greatly appreciated. To date we have donations including a meal for two, driving lessons, a weekend break at a hotel, gift vouchers from a craft shop and family days out.

“If you're not sure what to donate then please consider sponsoring a barrel of beer for a fixed price of £30. As a sponsor your name will be highlighted in the programme to help support this cause. We are able to arrange collection of your donation if required.”

Anyone who might be able to help is asked contact Ms Lillycrop via email at events@gmx.co.uk
