Fashion show at Shaw Social Club this weekend

THERE will be a charity fashion show at Shaw Social Club on Saturday, August 27.

The event, organised by Diane Jones, begins at 7.30pm and there will also be a disco, raffle and clothes sale during the evening.

Ms Jones said: "I try to organise a charity event each year, but I haven't organised a fashion show for years.

"I managed to recruit family and friends as models for the evening."

All proceeds from the evening will go towards meningitis research and the Crimson Heat Tigers Cheerleaders in Newbury.

Shaw Social Club is in Almond Avenue.
