A match, in memory of private Marcus McArthur, will raise funds for Help for Heroes this Sunday
A CHARITY football match will be held in Thatcham on Sunday (February 13) in memory of a local soldier who died in 2009.
The football match will start at 1.30pm at Thatcham Town Football Club and will also be raising money for Help for Heroes.
Entrance costs £2 for adults and £1 for children.
The event is being organised by the family and friends of Thatcham soldier, private Marcus McArthur, aged 19, who was killed in a car crash on the A34 in February 2009, just days before he was due to be deployed to Afghanistan.
