Charity launch at Belinda's birthday bash

Friends and family of Belinda Harding-Perry, who died from breast cancer earlier this year, held a birthday bash to honour their friend, who would have turned 35 on the day of the party, and who put the ‘fun into fundraising’.
She had raised thousands of pounds for charity despite her own illness.
More than 80 people showing their support at the Hilton Centre Newbury on July 27.
The party also saw the launch of the charity Belinda’s Wish Breast Cancer Care and all money raised will be donated to Newbury and district cancer care.
The group has asked that funds go to the rainbow rooms at the West Berkshire Community Hospital, where Belinda died from a brain tumour.
Belinda’s husband, Daniel Perry, said: “It went fantastically well. It was amazing and all the girl’s hard work really really showed. There were lots of people there and as a launch party it was a huge success.
“It meant everything for me and my son to keep her memory alive and to give something back to help the people and charities that supported her. My son was watching videos of her on a loop. He’s only four but he has some really vivid memories of his mum.
“Belinda was a complete one off, she was really unique and there was never a day of boredom that was for sure.”
Some of Belinda’s friends were also inspired to follow in her footsteps by taking part in the London Moonwalk and Race for Life, which raised thousands of pounds for breast cancer research and cancer research UK.
