Chicken coop on wheels part of Newbury show's Eco Village

Margaret Cole, co-owner of Cole’s Coops, started the Wales based business in her 70’s: “Never say die,” said Mrs Cole, whose chicken coops can be hosed down and are fox proof, with the material guaranteed for life.
Impressed was Eleanor Newman, who lives near Swindon and has previously kept Peking bantams in wooden chicken coops, but was more interested on discovering she could order a small ' hut', made of recycled plastic to house her beagle dog: “It would make a great dog kennel, but we would have it for chickens,” said Mrs Newman.
Also at he Eco Village were electric bicycles, re-usable nappies and bio-mass fuel burners, along with a tent full of environmentally friendly products.
