Children cycle for charity

The Just Learning Nursery in Newbury raised more than £200 for the NSPCC at a recent 'Pedal Push' event
A NEWBURY nursery has raised more than £200 for the NSPCC as part of a ‘Pedal Push' event.
About 15 children from Just Learning Nursery, Monks Lane, took their scooters and bicycles along to nursery last Wednesday (June 1) morning to complete a course in the car park.
They raised the money from sponsorship and so far £200 has been counted with more coming in.
Nursery manager Sarah Kingston said: "They absolutely loved it.
"They were so excited in the morning and had their little crash helmet on.
"We were definitely pleased with the amount raised; anything we can make for charity is great but these are only pre-school children so they did really well."
