Chocolate and teapots on offer at riverside restaurant

This Easter weekend, chocoholics can indulge their passion for the cocoa bean in a mouth-watering afternoon tea overlooking the Thames at Marlow, Buckinghamshire.

Macdonald Compleat Angler Hotel is offering a Chocolate Afternoon Tea from April 3 until April 6 with chocolate chip scones, chocolate tart and home-made chocolate pastries on the menu, plus a choice of freshly brewed teas, all for £27.50 per person.

Tea will be served from 3.30pm to 6pm on all days except Sunday, when it’s 4pm to 6pm.

A traditional roast lunch with a choice of starters, mains and desserts including Scottish sirloin of beef will also be on offer in the new Riverside Restaurant on Easter Sunday, April 5 at £49.50 per person.

Children under 12 will be able to dine at half price.
