Churches Together Around Tadley contributed £160k worth of volunteer time to community work in 2024




An organisation comprising all the churches in the Tadley area has said that it contributed more than £160,000 worth of volunteer time to the local community last year.

The 11 churches that form Churches Together Around Tadley (CTAT) have stated that their volunteers made the largest contribution to the Tadley community of any non-government organisation in 2024.

Last year, CTAT organised 1,449 events which comprised 4,424 hours of event time and 14,002 hours of volunteer time.

According to CTAT, this represents a value of £160,184 if calculated at National Living Wage rates.

CTAT’s highlights of 2024 included more than 1,000 people attending the Tadley Autumn Arts Festival in October, 62 children taking part in the Tadley Children’s Holiday Club during the summer break, and its school mentoring programme which ran during term time and helped to develop the full potential of pupils in local schools.
