Fuel bill crisis: Hungerford churches provide warm havens

FROM this week, Hungerford churches are offering warmth hubs for those struggling to pay their fuel bills.

The initiative is a response to the rising cost of living and aims to provide a place where people can meet and spend time in a warm, welcoming and safe environment.

Each of Hungerford’s churches is hosting a space and entry is free.
