Renault Frères Club plans classic tour to Greenham Common, Renegade Brewery and Basildon Park

A vintage car club is coming to Greenham Common.

The Renault Frères Club, established in 1984 for all Renault cars built before 1940, has some 150 members worldwide.

The club is planning a route for classic cars on Thursday, September 14 — and its first stop will be at Greenham Common Control Tower.

The club is for cars built before 1940 and Tower volunteers are expecting 10 cars, dating back to 1905.

The vehicles will stay at the Tower from 10.30am until 11.30am.

Each year the club organises a rally in France, usually in June, and another in the UK in September.

This year, the club will be staying at the Donnington Grove Hotel from September 13 to 15.

After visiting the Tower on Thursday, the procession will continue to Bucklebury Farm Park for lunch.

The afternoon’s route will then take them to Renegade Brewery in Yattendon, before returning to the hotel.

On Friday, the cars will visit Basildon Park.
