Yattendon Classic Vehicle Day returns this weekend
A classic vehicle show is back this Sunday.
Yattendon Classic Vehicle Day — which held a rolling display of almost 500 vehicles last year — is returning to the village this Sunday (June 30).
The event, now in its ninth year, will be holding displays in the field opposite St Peter's & St Paul's Church and at Yattendon Garage.
Vintage stalls and teas will also be available in the Village Hall.
Organisers hope to welcome back the Aston Martin Owners Club; The Porsche Club GB, Region 19; The Ferrari Club; and the Cavalier & Chevette Club.
A planned flypast by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Lancaster has been cancelled.
Entry for display vehicles starts from 9am and public parking from 11am.
Entry this year will cost £5 per vehicle. Cash is preferred. Entry is free for display vehicles.
Due to the anticipated increase in display vehicles, organisers are asking all drivers to follow a site speed limit of five miles per hour entering and exiting the site.
Marshalls will be on hand to guide all road traffic.
