The team behind Yattendon Classic Car Show have donated the proceeds from this year’s event to Thames Valley Air Ambulance.

A delegation, including Lord Iliffe and managing director of Yattendon Estates James Hole, presented the charity with a cheque for £4,458 outside The Royal Oak in Yattendon on Friday, August 16.

“It was a glorious day,” said show organiser, Lyn Mistry.

“We were able to showcase a couple of cars as well, including a 1936 Rolls Royce belonging to Philip Bickford-Smith and Vic Mistry’s 1937 Vauxhall.

“It’s a bumper amount this year. We’ve gone from raising £511 in 2016 to £4,458 this year, so we’re very pleased.

“A very big thank you to everyone who contributed to the day both in terms of donations, attendance, sponsorship and support.

“We look forward to doing it all over again on Sunday, June 29, 2025.”
