Clere school pupils in the pink

Non-school uniform day raises £360

PUPILS at a Burghclere secondary school got in the pink last Thursday to raise more than £360 for charity funds.

The Clere School, in Earlstone Common, organised a non-uniform, wear pink clothes day in aid of two charities – Tickled Pink, in aid of people facing breast cancer, and the British Red Cross, which is working to support hundreds of thousands of refugees as they attempt to reach safety, and flee war and persecution.
