Clock club seeks recruits

The club meets twice a month to learn about horology, repair clocks in a supportive environment and have a sociable time along the way.
Club spokesman Gary Moye said: “If you’re interested in reparing clocks as a hobby, come along and try it. There’s no experience necessary. We meet on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month from 7pm onwards in the Newbury Conservative Club in Cheap Street.”
Visitors should use the rear entrance in the car park.
