Closing date looms for junior citizen nominations

So there is still chance for people to nominate a young person that they believe deserves recognition for something special they have done in the last year.
The award is specifically for anyone aged 18 or under who lives in West Berkshire and has shown an act of bravery, helped someone in trouble, contributed to making West Berkshire a better place to live, or has achieved excellence in school, work, or in an outside activity.
The nominations are judged by a panel of independent representatives.

The winner will be invited to attend a presentation at the West Berkshire Council offices where they will be awarded a certificate and a prize.
