Co-op's £10,000 for Lambourn

The Community Support Card Scheme (CSC), which is being run in selected Southern Co-operative stores, enables local communities to raise funds by presenting a CSC card, which are issued free by the participating store, every time they purchase goods in-store.
Every time the green card is swiped, The Southern Co-operative contributes to the fund.
There is no cost to the customer and the more customers use the card, the more quickly funds are raised.
Retail Business Manager at The Southern Co-operative in Lambourn, Kevin Gibson, said: “I want to encourage as many local organisations to apply for this funding; it’s a great way for The Southern Co-operative to work closely with the community and a pleasure for us to help fund valuable local causes.”
Recently the Lambourn store presented Lambourn Church of England Primary School Swimming Pool fund with £7,000 and St Michael and All Angels Church with £3,000 as a result of local fundraising support for the previous CSC scheme.
Local organisations and charities wishing to bid for the Lambourn Southern Co-operative’s new £10,000 CSC should complete and submit a bid application form by the end of November, available from the High Street store or online at www.thesouthernco-operative.co.uk
The winning entrants will be chosen by a panel of local representatives.
