Caffè Nero closes on Bartholomew Street in Newbury

A coffee shop in Newbury town centre has closed down, writes Martha Isobel White.

Caffè Nero, on Bartholomew Street, has closed down after many years of trading.

A spokesperson for the coffee shop announced the branch has closed due to circumstances beyond its control.

The chain has been approached for further comment.

But customers can still visit the chain’s branch in Northbrook Street, which remains open.
