Festival of Light lantern procession returns to illuminate Newbury on Sunday.

THE Corn Exchange’s annual Festival of Light returns to illuminate Newbury on Sunday.

With hundreds of twinkling lanterns, onlookers lining the street are invited to soak up the festive atmosphere as the procession moves through the town centre, travelling along Northbrook Street before arriving in the Market Place with live music.

In the run up to the event, creative lantern making workshops have taken place with schools, community groups and individuals.

Lantern holders will gather at the clock tower on Northbrook Street from 4pm, ready for the candle-lit procession to begin at 4.30pm.
