Comedy competition winner donates prize fund to charity

He revealed earlier in the week that he would be donating his prize money in-full to children’s charity, the NSPCC.
Mr Doyle won over the Corn Exchange audience and the judges with his comedic tales of the Mega Bus and pyjama-wearing zones.
A father of four, Mr Doyle said that he hoped to gain “good karma” by giving all of the £500 which was presented to him on the night to the NSPCC, and that it was certainly led by “the fact that I have four daughters”.
Mr Doyle found himself up against six other strong contenders in the final on Tuesday, July 10.
Other acts that won through to the final included Robin Morgan, Sarah Iles, Darren Walsh, Ben Champion, Nigel Lovell and Tim O’Connor.
In previous years the competition has produced up-and-coming acts Matt Richardson, Ian Smith, Gerry Howell and Imran Yusuf.
