Community event is urging people to get active today (Fri)

Information and advice about getting involved in sport, whether it be joining a club, coaching or volunteering, will be available from members of various groups, including bowls, cricket, dancing and sailing, at the Burghfield Sports Fair today (Fri).
Volunteer for Sport Makers, Kevin Belcher, encouraged people to get involved and enjoy the benifits of the activities available.
Mr Belcher said: “You don't have to be an Olympic athlete, be super fit or spend hundreds of pounds to get started in sport - just have an interest to become a little more active and healthier.”
The sports fair will run over two sessions at the Burghfield Community Sports Association. The first will be at 3:30pm - 5:30pm and the second at 6:30pm - 8:30pm.
